Invited by the Adult Education Committee of Congregation Beth Torah, Lynne Golodner will speak about Jews in Scotland: Stories on the Fringe.
Award-winning author Lynne Golodner will speak about her author journey as well as how and why she wrote her second novel, CAVE OF SECRETS, about Jews in Scotland. Lynne will talk about the inspiration for this story, which topped the Amazon charts at #1 for Jewish fiction, gay fiction and British and Irish literature, and share information about the history of Jews in Scotland, including the real historical figures who inspired characters in this book. She’ll also talk about the challenges Jewish authors are facing in publishing today, and why she focuses on creating compelling Jewish characters in stories with wide appeal. Lynne has a new book coming out in later January, and she will share about her writing career and why it’s so important to put positive Jewish stories in the world.
