For years, I blogged every day, though I stopped long ago to focus more on my creative writing. I found I couldn’t do both and do them well. But I didn’t want to lose that early voice, which was well-read.
I also blog for clients as a way of building a thought-leader voice. Clients have taken me to Bali and India to blog and do photography for their businesses, and I love capturing the special moments and transformations of those opportunities.
One key to establishing yourself as a writer is to develop a routine and teach people what they can expect from you. If you’re going to blog, commit to a frequency so people know when they’ll next hear your voice. I saved those blogs as a chronicle of that time of my life, and I offer them here as a taste for you of what blogging can be.
